What would you say the bike owner should be asking? Vance and Hines, 30k miles.





















The guy is asking $2100, which sounds to me like a lot of bike for the money. Good price or not....?

My son-in-law recently sold this FJ12 for $1800:

it's an 1100 in good shape? Around $2100 is a reasonable price to pay for a bigger, powerful motorcycle.

It would be cool to ride it.

I'd say $2K is about right.  Make sure you check out the bikes second gear.  If it pops out of second on hard accel, I'd walk away.  Here is a good link to read: http://www.mcnews.com/mcnews/articles/fj1100.htm regarding buying a used FJ.

Actually every bike I ever sold o a buddy was less than what I could have gotten from a stranger, but then as I see it a good bike to a friend no loss there Wink
