Since it's in West Virginia, we should feature some local color...

This idea sounds kind of corny and I has no grafix skilz, so I'll tell it. It has two outlines of WV, One says "Almost Heaven" and next to that a bike printed on the state outline reads Heaven.

I know that 'pre-ordering' for the group can be hard.  Might I suggest something like http://www.Cafepress.com?  Once a design is finalized, people can order what they want and there isn't any surprises with non-payment.

And for those with abnormally large 'trunk buddies', Cafepress offers onesies. Lol

That's the initial plan.  Though, I understand they have been difficult to deal with recently.

Regarding Jesco, here he is in his prime (unlike the image above):

I had a shirt done at CP once (about 4 years ago). I was not impressed with the quality. They re-printed it for me, but there was no change. I would not recommend them based on my experience. YMMV.

We are starting a small run silkscreening company.... I can print shirts at a very reasonable cost, but are not doing the really complicated designs yet... These are hand screened not put through a production machine, so smaller quantities are not a problem. If you can get us a design, I'll see what we can do.

That sounds like incentive for us to come up with  a good basic design.  C'mon all you creative folks.  Let's see what you've got.   Thumbsup

Click on my sig links and you'll see I sell t-shirts through them.

CP uses a thermal printing process that isn't the same quality and doesn't last as long as a good screen printing process. (Since I'm actually trying to get a weathered look on some of my designs, that's perfect, but it's not the typical design objective.)  Quality has improved from 4 years ago, but still not as nice as screen printing.

The advantage is that they print on demand so there's no initial outlay of funds, no need to guess a count for a print run, no set up fees. You just upload the design and people can order what they want. And since it's print on demand, you can make the design available on different types of shirts -- men's, women's, plus sizes, v necks, scoop necks, short or long sleeves, etc. -- and let people pick what they want.

Pick yer poison...
