A new R1200GS owner here.  Thinking a top case and maybe some panniers would be the best thing to first add to the bike.  Engine guards make the most sense but I need someplace to carry my junk.  Was wondering if anyone here has experience with the H&P Gobi cases.  Am interested in satisfaction with the mounting system and the functionality of the bags themselves.

Thanks in advance.

I have them on my 1150GSA. I have the side cases and the top case. They look awsome. The hepco mounts are sturdy. The directions are in German only! Took some time to get right. The top box holds a helmet. I got the water taps also.

Thanks Desmo.  Was beginning to wonder if they weren't worth having since no one seemed to have any experience with them.  Have you had any issues with water tightness?

Here's a pic of my HB topcase on my GS. Its the older style. It was the large size which came with the bike. If I was buying one, I would've probably purchased the smaller size, but for long trips it really helps out. It is well made and the locking quick disconnect system makes it very easy to add or remove it from the bike.
Enough about the HB. If I was buying new boxes, I would probably get Jesse boxes.....

They are water tight. I fill them up with ice and beverages also!
