The way I see it 85,000 pirates 12 hours and 775 miles away from where I'm going to be can't be a bad thing.

Your decision-making sucks.  Mexico will be there every day, but the National is only once a year.

His bike - 2000 Hayabusa (because it's important to have the speedo that reads 220 MPH...)

Her bike - 2005 CBR600F4i (I'm not even allowed on it, but I'm supposed to change it's oil)  1996 CBR 600F3 Pink/Purple Hello Kitty Edition - Will be reworked into a black and red evil bike for the up and coming rider/daughter.

I'll be there; Sandy will be there, too, perhaps riding pillion, but possibly on a new bike of her own--she was looking at Sportsters a week or two ago. I hope she buys one. Bigsmile

Wait, the whole country, or will just a few regions be joining you? We might need to allocate a few more rooms. Ya know, unless they surrender their rooms. Razz

France would be more than happy to know that you consider her to be equal to an entire country but please don't tell her as it will only go to her head and you know how it can upset the balance of the bike...

Does anybody have any comments about the Super8 across the street from the Brier Inn?? (other than being $30 cheaper per night)

I have never stayed at this one but most of the Super 8's in this area are nothing fancy but decent. If you get serious I can make some phone calls for details.

I'm not into fancy, I just need some place to sleep that has a real bathroom (not the separate sink area) that has enough room for any junk that I bring on a 7 day trip
