I take it these maps are easily available in town?

They're available lots of places....I think I picked mine up at REI.
You can buy them online, too. It's a "send your check" snail mail deal, but only takes 2-5 days.
Plastic coated, hold up nicely....

Our ride plans have changed. We were going to do Moab in early March, then a week of Death Valley offroad.

That changed into 2 weeks in Baja with the same group that went last time....But I will be in Moab March 19-21 with a group from AdvRider / Rockies that does the Kokopelli Trail each year (and White Rim Trail, Slickrock, etc)

But can they find Canuckistania? Lol

Good info, thanks.

They sound like good maps, I think we'll likely pick them up down there, just to make it easier.

Sounds like we'll just miss you.  Our first night in Moab is the 21st.

Looking forward to it! Banana

 Headscratch
Do street-legal motorcycles require OHV permits in Utah?

I know that ANY vehicle heading into off-highway areas in Oregon (and some other states) require OHV stickers, but I also know it varies widely depending on the state.

We hadn't thought about OHV permits for riding around Moab until finding one vague reference somewhere.  Any wisdom here?
