If so, what are the road conditions like? Salty? Icey? More importantly, what do you think the roads will be like this weekend?

Thanks.

I see you're planning to do the midnight run.  That depends on how warm it gets during the daytime and how low it drops at night. The colder the temperature during the day, the better, because it keeps the snow from melting then forming black ice when the temperature drops at night. Three years ago we had the event even though it had just snowed heavily less than 20 hours earlier. The road condition was good because the temperature hardly got out of the singal digits.  See you there.

Sorry Keith,

The Midnight Run has been cancelled due to heavy snow, black ice , fallen trees and in general, poor secondary road condition. Some of the areas got hit with two feet of snow or more.  Below are pictures of my attemp at going to work on friday. Most of the area was out of power, some are still in the dark today.

I was hoping to play in the snow when thousands are just trying to stay warm.  I didn't realize it was that bad down there.

Ben,  Thanks to you, Dick and everyone else who works to put on that ride for us.  I'll see you next year.
