What KTM dealer(s) in the SouthEast do you recommend for sales and service? (or which do you not recommend)
I am finding that alot of KTM dealers have dirt bikes only or.... they can get you a Adventure, Super Duke ect... but in those cases I dont really trust the mechanics in the back if the sales/showroom are'nt even pushing the street bike models and seem as if they could care less about them.

I go to Fredericksburg Motor Sports for parts. They sell a few streetbikes for KTM but this year there won't be many. The economy and KTM's sales requirements have made it difficult to move units. Just today I was there asking about getting a SMT. The salesman is gonna let me know about getting one but they haven't ordered any. They have worked with me to get parts from other dealers when KTM had none. I think there's a KTM dealer in Richmond who does better with streetbikes but I haven't seen it personally.
As far as someone stepping near my sh*t with a wrench, I'd rather spend the time researching on the web how to do it myself. I trust no mechanic. Most of the mechanics in dealerships are punk kids who don't give a sh*t about your sh*t cause it's not their sh*t.

These guys have been very solid in supporting area motor sport activities, family run and good stock variety in the show room. My friends have purchased there and have been happy and I have purchased tires/mounting and supplies, etc. Shop guys are good and prices are not give away, but very competitive. YRMV

I've had good experience thus far with Triangle Cycles in Durham (used them for <2y). Service-wise they get a little backed up during the prime riding season with scheduling sometimes a couple of weeks out, but they're knowledgeable and get it back to you when promised.
Don't know anything about it, but supposedly they have a shop in Danville.
