None of that actually happened, BUT I just got back from the Barber Museum in Birmingham Alabama.  For your viewing pleasure.

Great pics of Barber.  I didn't get the swastika palm tree symbol on the BMW sidecar at first... but I looked it up: Deutsches Afrika Korps.  The symbol is also seen in the one Indiana Jones movie.

It would have been nice to get into onto the basement floor the last time I was there.

Wow, they've changed up the displays a bunch since I was there last. Looks like the Pace ride will be right on time.

Bet they still don't have the original Ninja, which annoys me, as I own one and quite frankly think it's an important piece of history. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have later, less significant Ninjas on display. For instance, they have a ZX-10 on display. Really?

Sorry, had to get on my soapbox for a second. Regardless of my rant above, the Barber is THE best motorcycle museum in the world, as far as I can tell. I can't wait to go back!
