This was several hours ago.
edit for explanation:
Lump 1 is my Volvo V70R. The dark spot is the passenger side mirror.
Lump 2 is the Audi A4. Dark spot is also the mirror on that.
Note neighbor's giant great white pyranese and little brown lab. Sully the great white is having to plow a path for jake the lab. funny.

Amazing. LI got a dusting from the same storm that dropped 20" 75 miles south of here. Go figure.

The official yardstick on the deck total is 22" (deeper in drifted areas). That was about a foot more than forecast for our area (suburbs east of Pittsburgh). I'm getting too old to spend the day shoveling snow...
The back yard:
The front yard looking down on the driveway:
The view from the garage:
Old school snow removal (neighbor and teenage son helping):
Making good progress:
All done! The sun is out and melting off the last of it in the driveway. Road hasn't been plowed recently but is passable.
Lots of snow on the roof of the shed:
Pretty trees:
Funny how the snow got stuck in the basketball net:

That is a lot of snow. My dad said he spent 7 hours shoveling 2-4 ft of snow (depending on drifts) where he lives in Pittsburgh. Just a dusting here in NYC. Took my dog over to Liberty State Park for a couple of hours and snapped a few shots.
Dog was quite annoyed when I woke him
to go out but enjoyed it nevertheless.

About 14" in Burlington county, NJ. I just now got done shovelling.
My wife dug trails through the back yard for our three smaller dogs. Pit bull mix with poodles in pursuit:
