Well, I wanted to practice my dirt riding skills. So here is a new toy to add to the garage.
Now I have to buy some gear.

Time to stud those tires and have some fun on the ice.

Nice ride. I was looking at a leftover 2004 at the local Dealer not too long ago. I think that may be the next bike in the garage if we sell the Buell. Krismark won't ride KTM, but I'll try to get her on a Yamaha. If she sticks with Honda, that'll be the bike.

I had the pleasure of spending a day in the Michigan single track trails on one. And came away with the opinion that it was one of the finest handeling dirty bikes I ever rode.

That would be the perfect place for that 250.

The 250X is a great bike. I loved mine for a trail bike but it was not a great race bike. Even with the closed course mods designed by Honda I could not keep the top end together.
They are great and I mean great trail bikes!

Nice pics of the 250, 2 add ons for sure, skid plate that also covers clutch and ignition and rotor guard.
Like any bike some work without fault some dont. I know a few guys here in Arkansas that race the 250X with good results, maybe not typical. Either way you got a great bike!
and by the way I aint seen that much snow since....well I aint never seen that much snow!

sure just rub salt in the wound. (I keep reminding myself that I wouldn't want to ride with you in July and August.)
To everyone else, thanks, its going to be a fun adventure. I'm starting the farkle and gear search.
