Got 2 bikes, both with fairly young batteries.
Got 1 battery tender Jr.
How often should I switch it from bike 1 to bike 2 & back??

I try to move my one charger about every two weeks among the three bikes. I'd try to do it every week, but I usually forget  Embarassment

Yeah, you'll be fine for several weeks at a run if 1) the batteries are good and 2) there are no constant drains/shorts in the bikes' systems.

I haven't put my Sportster on the tender at all this year and it fired right up last week (after sitting near onto a month) so I could do some running around on it (the day before SnowPocalypse)

A nice thought, but two things work against me for that: 1) My township is most generous in the allocation of the taxes it collects and therefore we have two garage pickups PER WEEK  EEK!  2) I can't get to the bikes easily while both cars are in the garage. Therefore, some re-arranging must occur in order for me to move the plugs around.

Otherwise, that's a fine idea!  Thumbsup

OK just a bit of first hand experience with the HF float charger,  IT KILLED MY BATTERY, BOILED THE F-ING THING DRY

Good to know Andrew, I'll keep an eye on it.  I'm only using 1 right now, and I gave a friend another, but he hasn't used it.  

Still, spend the $20 on another battery tender.  It seems worth it to save a $50+ battery.

+1  Thumbsup  I've got two -- only got one bike  Headscratch Lol
Only comment is to keep an eye on those trickle chargers.  Mine are good quality, Battery Tender's I think but that trickle charge circuit is IMO far from something I would just set and forget.
