NEWSFLASH!!!

jimmystartup is back with Desteenation!!! After a nightmare of "stuff", he is now back at the helm of our best shirt provider. If there's going to be a shirt made for this event, I highly recommend dropping him a note  Thumbsup

here's the idea that i posted on the other thread...

I have no graphics skilz... but here's a design idea.

you have a simple map, drawn to show the curvature of the earth between Eureka & Ukiah & you have a poles at each location, like north pole south pole, or a barber pole (don't think that a festivus pole will work). this year Eureka gets to be the bigger end where your focus goes. then next year you change the design to make Ukiah the focus/primary.

I was thinking of some designs for the concept of "Breaking with Tradition" but Fortuna won the vote.  Maybe "New Traditionalists" as a theme?

I thought Eureka won the vote.  Headscratch  Is Eureka really good old Fortuna or are we staying in Eureka proper?

Maybe something with a luddite/industrial revolution theme.

I think you meant hanging chads.  These are chards:

Hardly  Rolleyes

To explain my reasoning: we've always had the meet in Fortuna, with a BBQ/get-together at Dr Gil's in Eureka. Therefore when we went to one, we went to the other. There was never an inkling of doubt that the Official Meet LocationTM was in Fortuna.

Give Peter some time. Apparently there was quite a hullabaloo over there and I'm sure it'll take a bit to get the store in order. If you're really excited about the shirt, send him a message asking if he plans to print more.  Smile
