Keeping an eye on this thread... Since we've bailed on the tech day.

The only problem I see is that its the weekend after the Cape Fear 1000 rally. Asking to take two successive weekends off is kinda frowned upon at work.

P

Just tell them I'll be there. Have their people call my people. No worries.  Lol

Anyone leaving for the Burger Run that Friday (4/23) from the Philly area?  I was thinking about leaving noon-ish, give or take a few hours.

I just got around to booking my room last night but I may have to cancel. I might be traveling for work the week before. If I am, I'll be staying home that weekend.

Possibly - am hoping to leave from western Allentown area around 1 PM.  But I won't know till the day before.  I'll post up Thursday night.

From I-476 & I-78 junction, Planning on old 22 out to 737, over Hawk Mt. Rd, 895/443 (sort of) to New Philadelphia Rd, up 339 part way to 61, cross at Sunbury, 522 to 235, then if running late or getting thirsty, head north to catch I-80, or better yet, continue out 45 to pick up the Rattlesnake Pike, 504 through Black Moshannon SP.  Great route, I'm psyched already.  Then again, maybe I'll go the other way on 895 and take 125 instead of New Philadelphia & 339.

So many roads, only one Burger Run.

Matt, I have to wait for my daughter to get done school, however she's got a study hall at the end of the day, so I'll have all her stuff packed up and readyt o go, and will likely just yank her from school early. I live a mile from the school... home long enough for her to gear up and we'll head out. I'm guesstimating 1:00 - 1:30 (they're done at 2:30) or so. I wasn't planning on the ride out being the typical 7-8 hour ride I usually make it most of the other years... just a beeline out there in time for a nice dinner and unpack.

http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Food/binge.gif Would anyone be interested in meeting up for lunch on 4/24 at Curt's Smokin' Ribs?  It seems to be right in the middle of some good riding in Mill Hall (which is near Lock Haven).

Yeah very possibly. I'm coming out with at least 2 maybe three other riders on Sat. and our route is going to take us pretty close to there. I'll keep it mind no doubt.

Sounds good!  Maybe we can stretch the single lunch on Sunday into a multi-meal meat-up [sic]!  (Since there has already been talk of going to Denny's for dinner on 4/24).

No firm idea on my plans so far... coming out Friday PM, riding all day Saturday, likely North and West, hanging, drinking and laughing Saturday PM, then buzzing home after the luncheon on Sunday.

Saturday while out riding, I plan on hitting some of 144 and/or 44 and/or 120 and getting up into Galeton. Depending on how the day goes, I might run East, out to Manhattan Station and up the hard-pack roads up the mountain, maybe over to some the smaller towns I used to hang out in. Or I might just head West and buzz around out past Coudersport. I'm doing Saturday largely without a plan.
