We finally made it to Clearfield at 9pm we left Scotchplains NJ at 9:30 am.We met one of our crew in E Stroudsburg pa where we encountered our first trouble with a flat tire and a plug not taking about an hour later we made it work and continued on.Taking the high road mapped on my GPS last year took the low road it was awesome some how things got mixed up after my garmin was serviced.Anyhoo we continued on the the high roads which were great stopped at Green Gables Resteraunt which was excellent. Then  we found an oil leak on one of our bikes, tighten things up then moved along taking rt 706 or 704 it was a great road until my gps sent us over the mountain into the woods to the hillbilly tractor races (cool) then back to the real world when the same bike started losing fuel.To make a long story long we made it to I 180 to I 80 to clearfield  in the pouring rain. The best part of the story I had a blast. We are calling this one Murphy's ride.Oh the rebuilt Intruder 800 that hadn't been riden since it was rebuilt who knows when almost made it back to Cateret NJ got towed 65 miles out.

We all started out well we all made it home safe and sound it would not have been any fun if it weren't for the crew I was with we all took it in stride and nothing spoiled the fun. Once I get my act together I will post some pix,

I live halfway between Clearfield and Wykoff Run Rd on Route 879. At 6:00 PM Sunday night, we had a sudden thunderstorm with small hail. Looking at all the posted photos, it seems odd to see so many strangers riding the central PA roads I am so familiar with. I have snowmobiled from Hyner View to the PA Grand Canyon. Sorry, I didn't make it, but I had family obligations.

So who's working on this year's "badge"?  I can't think of a unifying theme for this year...

I don't have any graphic ideas (yet), but the "5th Annual" or "Final" aspects might be good.

Then there was Jerry's most marvelous off-road adventure tour Bigok on the way home.

You've heard of ugly ducks?  Well, we were accompanied by a muddy Duk.   Bigsmile  That was a sight!

"Legend" now has it that Jeff put a knee down somewhere on that squirrely piece of dirt - somebody got a picture - of his knee anyway.

You are crude, ignorant and vile; all admirable characteristics in a motorcycle rider, or a pirate.   Lmao
