Ergos Differences b/w ZX10R and ZX6R

After I sell my Bandit and return from a minor riding hiatus, <Insert shameless plug here> I'm considering getting a more sporty bike.  I've sat on the new VFR, CBR F4i, GSXR 600/750, ZX12, ZX10, SV650, SV1000, and some others that I've forgotten.  The ZX12 and ZX10 felt the best.  In particular, I really liked the ergonomics of the ZX10.  It felt like my body belonged on that bike.  

I don't think that I need all the power of the ZX10 though, and the local dealership doesn't happen to have any ZX6R's in stock. According to the specifications, both bikes have the same seat height and wheelbase, and the pictures on the Kawasaki web site look as if the ergos are almost the same.

Does anyone have any experience with the ZX10 and ZX6R that can comment on the ergonomic differences?

I very neary bought a leftover 2005 ZX-10R last October. Bought the ZX-6R instead. Sometimes I wonder if I should have bought the 10R instead. I think the 6R is a little tighter than the 2004/2005 10R. I demo'd the 2006 10R this past summer and it felt sportier than I remembered the 2005 being, but not radically so. I was comfy enough on it (about the same as my 6R). Loved the power. Huge power, but it felt controllable, where the 2005 generation was rumored to be a real beast.
 
FWIW, I manage to do long days in the twisties on my 6R. It makes a great SPORT-touring bike for me with the addition of a tank bag and Cortech soft luggage. I'm 6'3" and feel pretty dang folded up on the thing, but I hold myself up with my abs/back (not my arms) and don't hurt after a long day of riding. My quads will hurt the next day (from hanging off), but no joint or back pain. But that's a VERY subjective area. What works for me may suck for you.
 
All that said, I think I would sacrifice a little handling nimbleness and some extra weight for the torque of the 10R. I'm still not comfy with life over 10K RPM. The 6R starts to pull at 5 or 6K, wakes up nicely at 8K and is ready to rock over 10K. But I'm just not used to wringing a bike out like that all the time, even though I know that's not abusing it. Effortless power everywhere in the RPM range is a good thing when SPORT-touring in the mountains IMO. Makes passing cars childs play. Just don't get greedy on corner exits with all that power...
 
BTW, the only mods I've done to my 6R are a double-bubble windscreen (so that I could see the instrument cluster), frame sliders and a tank pad. That's it. Put almost 14K miles on it the first year with only a couple minor niggles (didn't want to start a couple times and dead battery).

OH! The place I bought my 2005 ZX-6R at apparently still has a some 2005 leftovers for CHEAP. Brand new 2005 ZX-6R for $6999 plus $330 prep/etc. The 2005 10R is $8300 plus $330 prep/etc. J&J Sales in Port Clinton, OH.
