Five Mid-Winter Day Rides

Last winter, I collected a number of local day rides into a
Dirt Lovers mid-winter report
.
Here is the 2010 version and my attempt to contribute some dead-of-winter ride reporting to the site, even if it's just in Dirt Lovers.
Ride #1
A little early winter ride with friends on some of the OHV trails just east of town.
Ride #2
A great pre-Christmas ride exploring some challenging canyons and single track trails that I hadn't seen before.
Ride #3
After a morning of skiing, I went out to one of the local unofficial MX tracks with a supermoto racing friend and shot him and his son airing out the big jumps. We also did a little trail riding around the area too.
Ride #4
A good friend, the guy responsible for introducing me to motorcycles actually, recently moved back to Oregon from Arizona. It was a special pleasure to introduce him to some of the lesser known trails here. It had snowed a few inches the morning before and the trails still had a covering of snow. This made the riding something completely different and tons of fun. Enough slide to make it really interesting at speed, but enough traction underneath that you could keep it together.
Ride #5
A friend recently picked up a new-to-him 950 SuperEnduro and wanted to christen it in the dirt. Last weekend we did a dual-sport day-ride out of town and into the desert, looping around Horse Ridge.
"Ok, now try to look as bad-ass as your bike"
A nice shot of me on the big 640 captured by a friend.

For goodness sakes, it's a 950R w/ an oversized tank on it. How difficult is it to look bad-ass on that bike!?
Great pictures, as always. Thanks.

Paying for rear wheels on the F8GS is taking me to the poor house. I wouldn't want to think about the tire replacement schedule for the 950SE.
Those look like TKC80's too.
