And yet your profile says you have a Vulcan 500
Oops, Fixed it, the vulcan is actually my wifes bike. I was between bikes at the time I signed up but the vulcan was in the garage so I listed it in my profile. The vulcan is a lot more fun to ride than the V-star was, and quite a bit quicker too.
Also, for anyone whe cares, my bandit was listed at $5000 on CL. He sold it to me for $4500. The previous owner had lowered it 2" in back (lowering links), changed out the muffler, and installed the chin spoiler; tires were nearly worn out. So far I have raised it back to stock height, installed new tires, bought madstat windshield (works well), and put on the factory topcase. Total invested, approximately $5000 not including TTL or insurance. Oh, and the insurance is about the same as my V-star.
