Perhaps you missed my post above! I did my own valves and all were in spec. A couple( three) were on low side so I did change shims!
However, I ride moderate and rarely hit redline or high load, so mine did not wear much.
youre right, i did miss that! you are certainly in a minority in that case, but if you ride as easy as you say then that would be a good explanation. its hard to keep this thing in the lower revs!
