I seriously looked at those back when they were 2 strokes.  The Bajaj had a four stroke, but the Stella was magnifico, more classic Vespa than anything Vespa sells here.

This 4 stroke version is meant to completely outperform the old 2T version.  Mph and mpg.  I wish Vespa had a modern shifter scoot to sell in the US, but seeing they do not but Stella does..
I really like riding my Vespa around town, but I keep thinking how much more fun it would be if it did not have the CVT transmission.

(Stella is made by LML who were/are licensed by Piaggio to build this 'copy' of the traditional Vespa)

I saw a mfg demo this weekend and cancelled my order.
Priced like a made in Italy 150cc Vespa.
Built like a made in India copy...
