I stopped in at Lake Hill Motors in Corinth on the way back from Iuka, MS.  It's a pretty cool dealership.  There were probably 50 bikes and at least half as many ATVs on the floor.  It's a mix of new stock, a few used bikes, and new "old" stock from ~ 2006 - 2009.  Decent selection of helmets and gear, but not great.

What makes them really stand out is their at the back of the shop:

http://lakehillmotors.com/museum.htm

There is a huge mix of bikes including a 1921 Royal Enfield and a 1926 Indian.  There are a lot of 1960s Hondas and Yamahas and a lot of those are for sale!  They easily had 30 bikes in the collection.  Probably more.

It is definitely worth a stop if you are near Pickwick Lake where AL, MS, and TN come together.

I have not been to the dealership but  have run into the owner Dwayne and his friends at Mid-Ohio and Barber. They have some beautifully restored older Hondas and the most crusty Honda Dream "customs" I have ever seen. They are some characters.

That museum must be a fairly recent addition.  I bought my VFR from them back in '03 (not a real positive experience) and they had a few old bikes up above the offices but no real museum.  I'll have to check it out sometime.

Only been through Corinth once. My DAD! grew up in Mantachie and moved back after he retired. Some days I wish I'd moved there when I got out of the service. I could have put large down payment on a house or some property...

Other days I think if I want the loudest noise I hear in my house to be the crickets I can mail order them by the 1000's for cheap... Bigsmile  I know that because we used to have a veiled chameleon and would mail order pinheads by the 1000. It took a while to get used to hearing them chirp, and longer to get used to not hearing them chirp.

Life's been an odd trip... Wink

Wow, you live in the big city!

When my Father left Mantachie in the '50's Itawamba Co. was dry. When he moved back in the '80's he didn't even think about the fact that it might still be dry. He realized about 2 weeks after closing on his house (when he actually relocated) that he lived across the road from the Sheriff and had to drive 8-10 miles to the nearest "county line" store that sold alcoholic beverages.

I still remember the first time we were sitting on the front porch drinking beer and the Sheriff drove up in his police car! I was still in the military and thought I was about to ruin any "career" I might have had. Set my beer in the planter behind one of the bushes. Dad saw this and started laughing at me, then pointed it out to the Sheriff when he walked up. Nice way to meet the head LEO! But I didn't worry about going on a booze run after that. I'd walk right into the "county line" store (without looking around to see if somebody from my church was there and might see me buying booze), grab a couple of cases of beer,  pay,  and lay them in the bed of my pickup. If the Sheriff is your Dad's drinkin' buddy it's probably pretty safe...
