I have a KLR in Peoria, AZ, that I'd like a little closer to my garage in New Jersey. Normally I'd ride it myself, but what with the time of year, the time it'd take and the time I (don't) have, I'm not really keen on spending 2,500 miles on the interstate on a single cylinder

The thought is a KLR relay Banana  If you or someone you know is heading east along I-10/I-40 and have room for a bike, you could take it as far as you're going - it'll be at least that much closer to home. Eventually I'll just end up flying to wherever it is and riding it home, but it'd be nice if it was at least east of the Mississippi.

Weak attempt at humor.

Wish I could help as Peoria Az is just across town from me. No plans to head East anytime soon though. How did your KLR end up in Peoria Az?

I'm going to be in Arizona for a week and then returning to Houston, although I will be at the mercy of a friend I am riding with.

Seriously, that's a great offer. I guess I have to register at the goldwing site  Crazy in order to get a hold of the guy

Yes, the site is slow to load.

I believe it's hosted in Ireland, and the bits have to cross the Atlantic.  From what I understand some get wet and it takes time to dry them off. Having a bit drier installed on your internet connection helps speed the process.

The site is the premiere site for Goldwing information.  Unlike here, I kinda have to tone it down a little over there.

I hope your trailer ride to Georgia works well.

Rusty.

Ok - assuming that the earth doesn't blow up between now and the 2nd of April, all is taken care of in the transportation of KLR #2 to the east coast.

Thank you all again for your offers of assistance (and the occasional smart-ass remark   )
