be careful in Savannah and Tybee Island.  PARKING TICKET CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!  There is absolutely no place to park without paying.  little 'vending machines' every block for your credit card...

IM me if you want, RCR - we have a cabin near Boone for rent that I can give you a deal on then.  You'd have to tolerate a mile of flat gravel and a bit of an inclined drive, but the roads are much better there. Temps predicted for the 80's this weekend...

That goes for others here also!

I know I'm a little late jumping in on this but I thought I'd add anyway. Don't know if your plans still include traveling in SC or not, but if you venture southwest over the mountains from Pigeon Forge then I wouldn't go any further than Greenville/Spartanburg. Southeast of I-85 and the roads quickly turn straight and flat. Hwy 441 out of PF is a nice ride down to the Blue Ridge Parkway but there is a section closed until July (mile post 400), as well as I-40 between Asheville and Deal's Gap. The Dragon should be open next week (daily update for April 2), but you'll have to start on the NC side and then turn around at the other end when you get to the lake.

If you are looking at doing some planned routes then Open Road Journey has a lot of GPS routes available.

Ride safe!
