I thought it was Triumph policy to provide demos at dealers on an ongoing basis  , so I'm surprised to see that Euro Motors in Pgh. doesn't provide demos at all.

I was spoiled out in CA where I could drop by my local BMW/Triumph shop (Mountain View ) and take a spin upon request - maybe that's why they're the country's leading Triumph dealer?

I believe most (but sadly not all) Triumph dealers do offer demos on a regular basis, this thread is more for the "demo truck" appearances and organized "open houses".

Martin Motosports in Boyertown had their annual Triumph night tonight. They did put together a nice shindig with the food and music. Don't tell Rincewind but those Triumphs are moving up on my list.

The Euro Moto of Pittsburgh open house will certainly have demo rides available, but I don't think they will be running organized groups with leader/etc. They always let people demo bikes. Sign a waiver that puts you on the hook if you damage the bike and go on a short solo ride (the demo loop is about 10 miles I think).

The event on April 3 is an open house with no factory demo truck. If there is a bike you want to ride, call the shop and verify that one is available to demo. They have always treated me well.

Just got off the phone with them. Slots are filling up for Friday. Got a Bonne and wanted to try a Street Triple but they were all booked. So I grabbed a R3R which I found out later is the Rocket 3 roadster.

Kawasaki is doing demo rides at the Carlisle show next weekend.  Suzuki was there last year, I guess they're not returning this year.  Oh well, I can still test ride a Versys or a C14, or maybe the new Z1000.

I rode that same bike last month at a NJ demo day - lots of fun.  A little too loud with that exhaust, though it did sound nice at the right RPMs.  Made me wish for a few more horses on my W650.  I found the real bar vs the old clip ons is a huge improvement given the actual sporting capability of the bike.

I agree with you Nevin.  A fun bike and though the Arrows sounded pretty awesome, there is no way I could deal with that all the time.  One rider behind me said they were shooting a bit of fire on some decels.  Roll on power was very good, better than a Bonnie and Scrambler I had ridden years ago.  It has some funky handlebar vibes from the twin, which to me would get old quick.  

Really I should have taken another Speed Triple spin like Dos Equis did, but I had never ridden a Thruxton.  The Speed and Street Triples are the best.

Glad you liked it.  The rain delay meant they didn't start riding until 11:30, but then there weren't many riders so it wasn't too difficult to get into a group.

If I had stuck around, it would have been nice to ride that bike to test the optional low-mount Arrow exhaust.  It's over a grand for that option!

The Ducati demo truck will be at Cross Country Ducati/BMW/Triumph (yep - added Triumph!) tomorrow and Saturday in Metuchen.  I'll be there Saturday trying to get on a Monster 796/1100 or Sport Classic (so please don't sign up for those  ).  I'll be on my white Street Triple with red Icon helmet and black leather jacket with "17" patches on the shoulder - say hello if you're there.

 Although I'm writing this on a day that is forecast to get close to 100
degrees. I wanted to make you aware of some future events that will close
our summer season and open our winter season.

   We'll finish this summer season with our last Fuel-it Victory Demo
Ride. We've already begun selling our 2011 models and are continuing to
clear out the last of our left over bikes with some fantastic deals. If
you want to ride the 2011 Victory motorcycles come by the dealership on
October 29 & 30. The factory truck will be here and we'll be riding all
day. Please take this opportunity to grab a friend and come in and ride
the latest and greatest that Victory has to offer. If your thinking of a
bike for next year this is the time to buy. You'll have all winter to set
your bike the way you want it and be ready to ride when the weather breaks
next spring.

   One of the questions I get the most is "where can I ride my ATV". Well
there is a ORV riding area being developed in the Northumberland area. See
what it's all about at  www.ohv.norrycopa.net you can also sign a petition
having your opinion made know at

off the ground it would be a great opportunity for everyone.

on since it's moved to Lebanon. As far as snowmobiles go I have uploaded
all our in-stock sleds from new to used on our website. Everything is on
sale. If your looking for a sled this season please check them out.

   Once again we're hosting a snowmobile safety course on November 21 for
youth ages 10 - 15 who wish to ride snowmobile in PA. This is an all day
course and pre-registration is recommended. Call us to register.

   The last and final date to remember is our customer appreciation
breakfast on November 6th. We turn on the hot plates and cook up some of
the best pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage around. Please take a few
minutes to stop in and say hi, catch up with us and grab something to eat
while your here. We want to thank you for your business over the years.
