Leave those onion rings alone, they're not meant for THAT...

I think I can no longer listen to the podcast after that remark. I'll never look at an onion ring the same way again.

Hmm, the marketing department at Guzzi:  astoundingly incompetent or twisted evil genius?  Discuss.   Lol

I'd just say "reactive". Similar to Suzuki... "Dear America... buy the shit that's already there before we send you anything new."

I guess it could have been worse.  At least you didn't buy up a bunch of left over Blasts hoping to corner the market, not knowing that ad campaign that Buell was about to unleash..

I tried to get one of those 2010 Blast cubes thrown in the deal when I bought the 1125CR.  I bet in ten years they'll be worth more.

No , the Norge is actually a very good selling Guzzi. No 2010 Norge for the US just the remaining 09's. The 2011 will be released in the US and have the 8v engine.

According to the logic of this thread, Suzuki has dropped it's entire street line-up...

Well, we didn't get any new 2010 models in the US... just a few dirt models. So....

ergo Moto Guzzi is doing much better than Suzuki since we only "lost" one model!  Suzuki apparently packed up and quit!

Well I for 1 decided to lower the inventory at Moto Guzzi by 1 08 Norge.  It was a great bike in 08 and still is.  I got it for 11200.00 out the door.  In my mind that is a pretty good buy.  I am flying t NH 25 May and riding it back to Saskatchewan.  That's what bikes are for isn't it?

Apparently they still have about 20 Norges for 08 in the warehouse all black.  they do have all 3 colors for the 09 models.  But why buy an 09 when the 08s are basically the same machine.

Moto Guzzi is not dropping the Norge.  The 850 sells pretty well in europe.  Berlin police just bought a sh tload of them.

Relatively few riders are lucky enough to discover that there is a lot more to a lifetime of motorcycling enjoyment than just going fast. Those who do... become "motorcyclists".  The rest just happen to be riding a motorcycle.

Good for you - I love the black.  Other than Todd's (and it is a custom dark gray and gray) I don't think I've see a black Norge on the street.  Sure do like the photos I've see.

Interestingly enough, a dealer a little north of me, has sold 3 Norge's in the last week. There seems to be real interest in the Sport and Norge lately.

I wish they'd bring that Sport 8v in so I could buy one......
