Had this wild and crazy idea the other day, take a superhawk and fit the injection from a xl1000V to it.
Or at least try.

But in order to do that I have to find a parts fiche for the Varadero on line.

Any ides on where I might find one???

Anyone, Bueller???

Tried Bike Bandit?

Likely their part numbers, but a decent depiction of the parts.

Nope they don't have any listing for a 2008/2009 xl1000V

That was why I was hoping to get our neighbors to the north or across the big pond to help.

Surf over to www.cbrxx.com and look for Partsguy. He is an official vendor for the site.

He is the Parts Manager for Forest City Honda in London, Ontario Canada. A really nice guy who goes out of his way to help people. He shipped the Canadian Super Blackbird cowl decals to me after I met him on a trip to Canada last September while visiting friends there. maybe Al could find a harness and injectors, etc. off of a crashed unit. Of course you would need the fuel pump and relays and ?????

Worth a shot. Then you would have something VERY unique.

Tell Al X1rider Mike from Atlanta referred you.

Good luck. Thumbsup

Nope, but if you come across one, I'd be interested in seeing what would be needed to convert a SuperHawk to a cable operated clutch.

Dood, interesting bike. Did you customize it yourself, or was it all f*cked up when you bought it?
