Thanks Dave.

How are the damping numbers used?  Is 0 all the way in (full hard for compression and max damping for rebound) or is that the upper limit number?

Someone posted on another forum that there are something like 400 million setting combinations. Lol  I've not run through the calculation myself.

Yes Ducati claims over 400 million different settings.

What does high and low mean.

That is like how fast the butterflies open.  150hp Low is a gentler acceleration rate.  A little "softer" from my understanding of the reviews.

Crazy  ... you'd have a better chance winning the Mega Gold lottery vs. guessing how someone has their Multi setup.  Lol

And I can buy one of each Ducati model if I win the Mega Gold.   Guessing someones Multi setting.....denial is probably what I'd get.      Lol

Also looking forward to info on the tire pressure monitoring system. It's definitely described in more than one press release and at least one review, but no info seems to be available from dealers.

Love this feature on my GSA.

So, are you saying somebody (preferably a Ducati spokesperson) actually did the math and it's acknowledged as fact that there *are* 400 million set-up possibilities?  Headscratch

Not willing to do the math yourself to verify?

Ok, I'll take a shot at it, though I'm not sure if my method of verification has any veracity.

Ok, here's what I got from the range section of the spread sheet..

Traction control settings: 8
Engine settings: 3
Front compression: 32
Front rebound: 32
Rear compression: 32
Rear rebound: 32
Preload: 16

Multiply them all together and you get...

Four hundred and two Million, six hundred fifty-three Thousand, one hundred and eighty-four.

Is it really that simple to get all the possible 'combinations' ? Again, I'm not sure...

I suppose one could multiply all those settings x front tire pressure (range 28-38 in 1 lb increments) x rear tire pressure (range 28-42 in 1 lb increments) to get billions of possible settings.
