No. It's a 'relatively' new sport called drifting where the object is to be sliding all the time. Takes amazing skill to be in a controlled powerslide the entire way up.
Better have a tyre sponsor..

Does California really close a public road for filming that crap? Am I now supposed to get all excited and go out and buy some energy drink? If I drink the energy drink which is usually caffeine and sugar will I now want to drive that way? This world makes no sense anymore.
