Planned to take this last Tues. off to for a nice long Ural ride.  Woke up queasy, fell  back asleep, wake up naseous, repeat for oh, 18 or 20 hours.  Begin puking at 3 a.m. on Wed.  Repeat every two hours until mid-afternoon.  Heave once more at 5:30p.  Spend Thurs keeping light food down - whoever thought soda crackers with cheese could be ambrosia - and nap in lounge chair.  Wake up today with minor nausea, sore stomach, but food remaining in place.  Meanwhile a stream of lovely atypical sunny March days stroll by my window while I feel like I've been poleaxed.  At least I had Baxter the Wonder Dog to keep me company and the two furballs otherwise known as my cats spent time purring on my lap. "Hey, Dad, you should stay home more often.  This is fun!"

Perhaps I'll try a really short Ural ride today to get needed supplies from the local grocer.

Doncha hate it when you get sick during good riding weather?  At least I'm not on a roadtrip.

OK, I'm done whining now.   Smile

Got out on the Ural for about 45 minutes as I figured better to take the bike that does not require any balancing in case I relapse while on the road.   Lol

Man, even though I hadn't ridden for only a few days it felt like years.   I took joy in something as simple as shifting.  Had a huge grin even though I just puttered about in town and a few county roads.  Felt magical to be back on a bike.  Looking forward to a longer ride tomorrow, although the weather is supposed to begin to degrade.

Stress B complex w/ C & zinc

Double up at first sign of onset of cold or flu. Jolts immune system. Often will ward off completely, or at least greatly diminish symptoms, and/or cut term 50%.

Continue throughout term.

If started after onset, may diminish symptoms during term remainder.
