That is definitely a twinkie.

The guy did a great job of taking components from other models and grafting them on to his bike...looks factory.

It's a dressed up V-Rod.

V-Rods have tiny tanks and horrible, atrocious MPG.

Actually my 07 V-Rod would get 43 to 47 MPG and V-Rods have 5 gal tanks!! To say nothing of also being a FAST Harley!!

make less of the 'tank' be an airbox and actually a tank, and give it a 6 gallon capacity and you are good to go!  Or 7, even better.

They look much better with smoother bags like Corbins. Those HD bags look angular and don't work astetically with the Road glide fairing. they never have.

The V-Rod *is* impressively fast. Well... it's not "fast", but it's definitely quick[1]. And the Street Rod could actually handle (their only offering up until the XR1200 that would impress more people if they hadn't canceled it after like 19 minutes on the market). Two qualities that set it quite a bit apart from the other models without modification or a ton of $$$. But when you open the throttle and get that bugger moving, its MPG drops considerably. You're lucky to get 100 miles of "spirited" riding out of it. Cruising / highway riding is fine, but a lot of throttle action and higher RPM running and *sluuuurrrrp*.





[1] "fast" suggests top speed, "quick" suggests 0-60, 0-100 times being faster, etc.

Brat Pitt owns one ..   HD has tested 2000cc and 2300cc V-rod based motors with the EPA .

That's a DOHC water cooled "Revolution" engine, not an air cooled push rod "TC"/Twin Cam/"twinkie" engine.

I saw a similar conversion many years ago in Canada at a large HD shop. It is very cool, but, such limited range, unless that top box holds an auxilary tank.

Harley sucks. But if they built something I like I'd buy it. But they suck. Well, unless they built this bike. Which sucks. But they don't. So they suck. And Harley sucks.
