this thread continues to be amazing.
let me recap...
Harley sucks. But if they built something I like I'd buy it. But they suck. Well, unless they built this bike. Which sucks. But they don't. So they suck. And Harley sucks.
If they built something I like I'd buy it for fifty cents on the dollar. But they suck.

That is one ugly brick of rolling crap. Some of you need your eyes checked.

I think the V-Rod dressed like that looks like ass. The better choice would be fitting the v-rod engine into one of the existing tourers.

I'm with you. As long as they remove that water cooling, get rid of the overhead cams, get some pushrods in there and put the hydraulic valve adjusters back.
And maybe bore it out to something between 96-110 cubes.

I really liked my touring frame Harley. There are days when I miss not having it. I just had my brother's '09 for a few days while doing some 25,000 mile maintenance on it.
Ya know... all things considered, I don't miss the raucous idle and I don't miss the heat (below 10-15 MPH). Otherwise... man, riding that bike is pure joy.

Darn straight! Why can't Harley be like Moto Guzzi with 7 North American dealers and quirky styled bikes like the Breva?

There's no water-cooled bagger in the 2011 lineup. Oh well.

According to Willie G., there never will be.

I wonder how much longer until emissions will force air cooling out of play...
