rolled over 3k miles this weekend and I still love this bike.  Inlove

I actually got to take it out to the Region 2 spring meet and introduce my love to some twisty roads and compare it to my old ZX. There is no comparision, the Uly is hands down more fun, more comfortable, and just easier to ride. Now to go pick up a new filter so I can change the oil.

Na, I keep the good things in my life, and the good memories.  I just try to avoid ugly things like WMD in Iraq and pods, things I don't understand.

I would buy another Ulysses if I could find a good deal.

This really is a great bike when the worst things you have to deal with is trying to keep the front tire down. Plus I was able to ride through a fairly steep ditch without any problems when a wreck brought traffic to a stand still.

I agree!  Awesome touring bike.  I may change the handlebars to a lower rise but it is a great bike.

Yup. Love my '06 (w 25K miles and climbing explody free) enough to keep it and drop another $2K in parts and farkles on it.  Inlove

My first ride around since getting back, I went down a road that didn't connect to its other end (Columbus has a lot of streets that are discontiguous...) and it petered out into first a dirt road, then it ended at a pile of dirt and junk. No problem, the Uly handled it and trundled across a vacant lot and plopped back on to the street and continued on.

I thought you got rid of the Uly Mastros?  I have envisioned the Uly with my old City-X bars on it.  But for now she sits with OEM bars.  With the high seat, heated gear, heated grips, and shit eating grin, it is always a blast.  Just wanna get the 9 primary swap done in a year or two.

Loved my Uly but finally had had enough of the wind.  Bought something that has better wind protection.  Love the new Norge as much as the Uly and it also brought ABS to the table.  I may have bought a new Uly but no ABS and no better wind protection.  Then the stupid buggers quit building dem Buells.

The Uly is doing fine, it hates my 3mile commute to work, but it is doing well otherwise. The Pirellis took the ditch like a champion MX tire, but that may have been the result of my determination to fly through the ditch (food poisioning).

How is your line of bikes treating you?

your not kidding about the weather, everytime get on the Uly to head to work I hear the voice that says "you're going the wrong direction". Granted I took a bicycle to work today, with the school zones it takes me the same amount of time to pedal into work as it does to ride or drive.
