Took my oldest boy on a beautiful ride Saturday... my friend Robert brought his super-clean ZX-14 along. Wolf Creek Pass was still closed for the winter so we just rode up to the gate, turned around and got some mexican food.

My son's face fell when I informed him we'd ridden halfway home before I realized I'd left my credit card at the restaurant and we'd have to go back and get it... but I bribed him with a Fat Boy ice cream sandwich and all was well again. Bigsmile

Beautiful day.

Temps were in the high 60s in the valleys, and 50s to low 60s in the mountains. Blue skies, white snow, lovely water... you can't ask for a better day than that. 8-)

Do my eyes decieve, or is your boy in mesh in the mid 50s-60s?  No wonder his face fell!   Lol

Looks like a nice ride though.  Too bad my spawn are still small enough that I'd have to Velcro them to the bike, heh.

It was quite warm enough in the lower elevations, and when he said he was getting cold up in the mountains I had him put a down coat over the top of his mesh jacket. He was fine. Thumbsup

His face fell because we'd been riding about 5 hours... and for a 12 year old without an MP3 player that's a long time. Bigsmile He's a trooper though. Buy him an ice cream every couple hours and he'll enjoy anything. Lol
