Official 2010 STN National GROUP DINNER Thread (** FINAL COUNT **)

The people have spoken and you have overwhelmingly voted to have an organized group dinner.    

The group dinner will be a buffet style arrangement and it will be held at the banquet facilities at the Brier Inn (now Quality Inn) in Lewisburg, WV on Tuesday June 15 at 7:00 PM (19:00 Military Time).

I have an email from management at the Brier Inn and as follows is the skinny:

1)  Price for a meal ticket (all in including paypal fee) is $20.63

2)  Please send your payment to me via paypal BEFORE June 5, 2010.  The paypal account you can use is rdsmith71@comcast.net

3)  I'll show a running list of those who have sent me payments.  When you send your payment, please include your STN NAME so I'll know who you are.

4)  The price does not include the rental / lock of the banquet room (so we'll have it all to ourselves) That is a separte $100.

5)  The price does include the following buffet menu...

As generous as that thought is, I believe the hotel has been very accommodating for those entries I have submitted past their deadline.  Plus, we're so close to the date right now that if someone hasn't committed, I doubt they'll be there anyhow.

Thanks for the offer Doug, but I would prefer that you take that money to have a drink or two and to raise a toast to all STN members that couldn't attent the National for a reason or another.

Anyway, as organizers you deserve it for all the hard work setting it up such an event.

Hello to all latecomers.  If you have not paid for a meal yet,  I have six meal cancellations between three members who will not be able to make it.  Since the meals are already paid for, if you send me the needed money to purchase their seat at the dinner, I can get these guys refunded.

The cut off for dinner tickets is now.  I have updated the list on the first page of all payees in alphabetical order.

All final payments and refunds have been made and the hotel has the final number of 41 meals.  

I'll see you in Lewisburg, I roll out first thing tomorrow morning.
