Looking at a '93 Bandit 400.....Opinions?

So I'm looking for a lil bike to play with before I deploy in Sept. Light wieght, decent handling and in good shape. I stumbled upon a very clean 93 Suzuki Bandit 400. Original owner with only 6000 miles, napolean bar end mirrors, sargeant seat, new metzlers on it, extra set of brand new avon venoms, wilburs remote resevoir shock, racetech springs with gold valves, K&N air filter, factory dyno jet kit, EBC pads, EBC wave rotor, stainless front brake line, Yoshimuru exhaust and the factory manual with some spare stuff all for $1500.
I know everything that comes with it is well worth the asking price. Wondering if anyone can supply input on what to expect. Any known problem areas with these lil bikes? Sounds like it's going to be a fun bike.

Hell yeah, I'd jump on it. Those little 400cc fours are neat. This and the Honda CB-1 were the only ones we ever saw. I've always wanted to ride one.

Riding a motorcycle is perfectly safe. And if I'm wrong, may my body be horribly crushed and mangled somehow.

Late chiming in...did you get it?
I had a '91 and my brother had a '93. Lots of fun. Physically a very small bike (and I'm not a big guy). You really have to work the engine. It was gutless below 10k rpm.
The only weakness that I know of is the CDI. Fairly common for it to expire before 20k. Happened to both my brother and I. New ones were hard to come by 8 years ago or so but I think I've since seen some for $400 online.

Yep, I got it and it was money well spent. Definitely not a sport tourer but a perfect commuter and back road burner. Took 4 try's dismanteling the carbs before they were clean enough to hold an idle. Very clean bike. The Wilburs shock is incredible and the adjustments are daunting. I have yet to install the racetech fork springs and gold valves. The EBC wave rotor and HH pads with SS brake line are very good. Two fingers will do the job. Only one problem....I'm 6'3" and the looks I get from people aren't the "wow, awesome bike!" looks. Good thing I'm having to much fun to give a shit. Anyway, lots of fun. This should hold me over until I get enough money for the new Z1000.
