I tried searching here and Google but came up with nothing.

I need help with how to remove/install the rear wheel for a tire change for a 2009 Buell XB9SX.

Is there a how-to guide anywhere?  Could someone post the steps invovled and any tips to make the process easier?

Thank you!

Check the Knowledge Vault section of www.badweatherbikers.com

This thread was useful when I did mine... http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/364795.html?1212272105

Quite simple IIRC, (Loctite Anti-sieze on the threads, don't twist the belt are the main tips).

Cheers

Thanks.  I thought it would be much harder to remove the rear wheel...

For my Uly, the reassembly sequence for the axle is:

  • torque it to 25 ft-lbs
  • back it out 2 full turns
  • torque it to 50 ft-lbs
