This is not a HD bashing thread.  Although I tend to laugh at some of the HD riders I see I am not a HD basher.  But I saw something today that had me almost turning around to chase it down to look again.  Four or five Harley's passed me today.  Couple of Choppers.  One had what can only be described as a large white Trellis mounted on the back.  It appeared to be about 4-5 feet taller than the bike and it stuck out at least a foot or so on each side.  It appeared to be bright white and made of metal but that's just a guess.  It was three bars across and three up and down.  I wish I had a damn pic but I was riding myself and had no camera.  Any clues?

Maybe it WAS a trellis that he picked up for his wife at Home Depot. Some guys will come up with any excuse to go for a ride.  Lol

It wasn't a trellis but sort of shaped that way.  Whatever it was it was extremely gawdy looking and it really stuck out.

We'll at least he wasn't wearing helmet with a stupid animal tail sticking out the back.  On little children it's cute but on adults it just a little creepy.    Rolleyes

Nice catch.  You're the first.   Lol  Obviously it's supposed to be HD.  Guess I was still perplexed by what I just saw.

Probably a PAtriot Guard flag bearer. My wife's uncle has a HUGE sissy bar on his FAtBoy for just that purpose. Silly looking thing.

I'd rather have a trellis on my bike instead of a stuffed toy. What's up with Gold Wing riders and stuffed toys? Headscratch

Maybe it was a grape arbor. Since he only rides his bike twice a year and the rest of the time parks it in the back yard next to the begonias, figured he'd  kill two birds with one stone.
