Was looking at a 04 gixer 750. Like the look of the superhawks and the cbr 1100. Basically anything will corner better than my nomad. It dosent have to be stupid fast. I dont need to go 180 mph. would like something that fits my size and corners well and will still get up and go when asked. I dont want it to ride across america just want it to go out and have fun with the fellas. I need it to be cheap. Like I said before it can be ugly.

Naked - Gen 1 FZ-1 or Bandit 1200 would be right in your price range
Fairing - Gen 4 VFR (pre-VTEC 800), any post 1998 Katana 750, early 1100XX or ZX-11/12

Ok, Nomad... you're armed with all sorts of info. Go shopping, go ass testing, go test riding if you can... let us know your findings and what you decide on.

If you tally the results in this thread, I think you'll see a few very clear, very standout suggestions.

Don't listen to everyone else, just go find the closest Hayabusa you can afford.  They're pretty fast.
