Personally, I like all of them. They look well-made, and blend in with the Multi styling.

I like them too. I do know I'll be buying the radiator guard and oil cooler guard. The rest I'm not sure I want them but they are nice.

Thank you all for the input about these parts. It's extremely valuable to us to be able to hear your thoughts and keep it in mind while we develop new products.
If you want to keep an eye on this stuff, we'll have a production schedule for our Multistrada products in the next month or so, which we'll post here. If you'd prefer to get emails, however, you can email me at
info@altrider.com
, and I'll make sure you're put on the list to receive updates.
In the meantime, check out the teaser for the Marley Africa Road Trip. It's being produced by David Alexanian (Long Way Round and Long Way Down), and stars the Marley brothers -- and our products will be outfitting and protecting the Multistradas they ride around South Africa.

(just a heads up: the link will download the file to your computer)
Thanks again for all the input, guys. Keep it coming!

Looks like quality parts that would serve the purpose. Only thing is, I don't care much for the pattern of the cutouts on the header pipe, oil & radiator guards. I'd like to see something that would match with the looks of the bike better.

Ever since we were put in touch with David Alexanian – producer of Long Way Round and Long Way Down – to outfit the bikes on his newest documentary, Marley Africa Road Trip, we’ve had the Multistrada 1200 on our mind 24/7. You’ve seen our renderings, but now you can see our prototypes installed on the bike:
We’ve worked around the clock to get these pieces ready for the Marley brothers’ trip, as well as for Greg Tracy and Alexander Smith, who will be racing Multistradas for Team Spider Grips Ducati at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb later this month.
Fishuntride,
Thanks for the feedback! It definitely helps us evaluate our work and make decisions moving forward.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up: the products we’ve designed are now on our website. If you want to see more pictures and read detailed product descriptions, check out the product pages below.
-
Crash bars
-
Header guard
-
Oil cooler guard
-
Radiator guard
-
Luggage rack
-
Water pump
-
Frame sliders
Thought you might also be interested in seeing some new footage of the bike. Our friend David Aldrich came by yesterday and took
some great video of the Multistrada 1200
outfitted with AltRider products. He really captured the sense of excitement we feel when around that bike.

Congrats! Sounds like things are hopping pretty good around there. That's very exciting!! You asked for opinions...
I don't own a multi...yet. But I think with all that you're doing, it wouldn't be a huge stretch to find a way to get some highway pegs worked into that set up. I have no advice but I'm just thinking of the ratio of sport vs touring that this bike might see and if big miles are going to be in the mix, an alternate foot placement / knee relief option would be welcome even if it's not terribly sexy. After all,
old decrepit people
many touring riders have bad knees.
Best of luck to you. Your products look great and are obviously very functional.

Any way to add aux light tabs to the crash bars? Options on color/powder coating on the new parts? If they were color matched to the OE frame (IMO) it would look much better.

The crash bars look very close in color to the frame color. That's what I remember when I saw then in the flesh at Ducati Seattle. Are they not?

Those all seem very useful. Would you mind posting weight figures for them? Also I'm curious what is the total width (far left to far right) of the frame slider item.

I'll look closer at some of your products if and when my Multi arrives. It's been 5 weeks since I ordered it and still no bike.

Oh, I didn't see the specifications tab. It still doesn't measure the total width of the sliders, mounted on their bar thing. In other words probably a value around 33 to 35".
