Tucking pants into boots

Do you tuck your pants into your boots while riding your motorcycle?  I always do, except on the rare occasion that I'm wearing short boots.  I don't like pant legs flopping around, and it just feels better to me to tuck them in.  But, I think I'm in the minority.

What say you?  Discuss.

Depends on the boots & the pants!  

Leather suit tucks into street or MX boots.  Nothing tucks into leather "biker boots".  Textile pants go over street or MX boots.  I've added ankle straps and/or altered legs to be narrower on my textile pants to keep ankle fabric from flapping.

Leathers are snug enough that they always tuck in. 'Stitch is too drapey to tuck in, so it goes out.
Frank Thomas textile suit and jeans can go in or out- in if it's hot and I want some ventilation in my boots, out if I don't.

Yep, leathers in, textiles out. In the winter when it's below freezing, I'll tuck my pants in to keep my legs warm.

occasionally yes, most times no, I keep pant legs over the boots in case it starts to rain, so the boots don't fill with water before I can get stopped and put on the rain gear.

It was mentioned above "Leathers inside, Textiles outide." I'd say that's a pretty good rule of thumb. I go with what the pants were designed for.

For street duty I wear Sidi On-Road boots and jeans with textile overpants and don't notice any flapping with them outside of the boot. The leathers I own are designed to go inside the boot, so that's where they go.

nope....speedo too short to tuck in! but mesh over-pants cover boots....seriously though..long pants tucked into long socks held down by pants.....secured in boots....covered by overpants.....

Leathers in. Overpants or jeans out. My Triumph Raptor textile/mesh pants fit like leathers, so they are tucked in as well.

Tucking your trousers into your boots is the equivalent of tucking your shirt into your underwear. And less exciting.

Those are pretty tall boots -- do you wear long ski socks underneath them?  Or just have the boot cuff touching your skin?

well now, that just depends on the boots in question.
Papa you should recognize these, these are right out of the UK, I've since sold them and they're currently being
worn as they should by a Triumph cafe pal of mine who lusted after them.
The Brits make a fine pair of boots.
