Day 50 today and still no Multistrada  Sad
I received my e-mail confirmation from Ducati NA on June 1st, now July 20th and no word on when the bike will be delivered.
I find it hard to fathom that a company that can design and build such a great bike cannot provide a delivery date.
My dealer only knows what their Ducati rep tells them. I've e-mailed Ducati NA and they only say to stay in touch with my dealer.

Are you sure you've owned a Ducati in the past? First thing i learned a few months after i had warranty work done on my MTS was patience...lots and lots of patience.

Maybe I should see a psychiatrist so he/she can help me identify what it is I'm running from. That way I'll know exactly how far I need to ride and be done with it!

Congrats on what appears to be a great bike.  Keep us posted on what you like / dislike and how it compares to your previous Multi.

I picked it up yesterday, did a couple of hundred miles, a lot up on the Blue Ridge Parkway in an attempt to escape this heat wave.
I did some good twisties on roads that intersect the parkway where I was able to just start to explore the performance capabilities of this bike.
It is fast, very fast, it just leaps between corners, torque, just gobs of torque, (note to self: purchase shares of Michelin).
It handles very well, is very comfortable, seat is comfortable.
Negatives:
Right foot can get warm if left in contact with clutch housing, or if positioned with ball of foot on peg and heel contacts exhaust shield. I have real big feet.
Left foot can contact centerstand extension if ball of foot is on peg. I don't really find this a problem.
Windshield for me at 6'3" creates noisy turbulence in up or down position. If I sit up very straight or move my helmet left or right, it gets quiet. I'll have to try a "Ducat Touring Shield" before ordering one, or look into a laminar lip.
My bags have the same gap at the front that the rest of the owners describe. I'm sure Ducat will fix this under warranty.

Overall, very pleased with the bike, it's an amazing machine, I felt comfortable on it immediately.
