Best pizza in Milwaukee = Lisa's Pizza (thin crust only)
found here
.
Runner up Zaffiro's Pizza
found here
.
Interesting you put zaffiros after Lisa's. I will have to revisit them.
Neds is also very good, but there are 2 of them. Everyone ignores the one on the north side, but it is still there.
Since we are talking pizza rating, are we looking thin, tradional, or deep dish crust. Pizza is all in the crust, you know.

There's a place called The Silo that has a loft area big enough to accomodate us for lunch. It's located in Lake Bluff, just west of Rt. 41 and 176. Great thin crust and pan pizza.

It's not the destination, but the journey, that counts. A sport-tourer's ride between two points is seldom a straight line. He will often seek the most convoluted route possible.

So, uh, what are you saying? Are you calling for the first meet?
Is anyone going to step-up and call the first meet or are we just going to talk about pizza all winter?

Just to add to the list this one is practically in my backyard but I haven't been there in a while:
http://www.ylunch.com/mundelein/bills-pizza/bills-pizza.html
This place has an very interesting interior, with it's taxidermy deco and a video game room and peanut shells all over the floor and imbeded into the tables.
The thin crust is good but damn it, I want a Chicago Style pizza!

If you roll into a pizza place on Sat between say 1pm - 4pm they will welcome you with open arms. Lots of empty tables. Any later and a good pizza place will need those tables as soon as you are finished eating.
If you've never been to New Haven, CT -
Pepe's, Sally's or Modern Pizza
- you haven't lived. I'll give a pass to anyone in NYC or Boston.

Hrmm. It wouldn't take much convincing for me to make a ride up for a pizza meet in Chi-town! Not *this* time of year though.
Maybe in the summer.
800 miles, 13-1/2 hours. Yeah, that's worth a tasty pie!
