This has been the toughest choice for me so far. I chose the KLR because that's what the USMC uses......and they use diesel fuel! I think that's kinda neeto   Bigsmile

I saw the Buell at the show and rather pic that over the KLR.

I have never ridden one, but I sat on one and it made me feel good.  Thumbsup

Voted for the Uly. I just like the way it looks a bit more than the KLR.

Gotta go with the globe-trotting Kawi thumper.  This was my toughest call as I really like the Uly in terms of innovation (not a word found when describing a KLR), hard luggage, and looks only a GS owner could appreciate.

Still, throw on Happy Trails bags or Pelican cases, replace the doo-hickey, and the KLR will run far and forever.  For cheap, too.

I'm going with the Buell here.  I like it's whole idea.  I probably wouldn't ride across the Sahara on it, but I'd definitely take it to Mexico.  Plus it'd make a great commuter and has enough power to have fun with.

Yep, KLR!  Thumbsup Lol

When the Ulysses has the same "global street cred" as the KLR, I'll vote for it. (But right now? It's not even close!)

This is the reason I voted Buell Ulysses, I saw one at the show with hard bags similar to this one

Want to vote for Uly.  Track record for KLR?  Unchanged for how many years and available in waht percentage of the world?  If we were playing for practicality, it's got a 1st place seed -- or even a bye week.

Voted KLR. Shrug The Uly is cool, but it's waaaaaay too big. I still don't understand why the super tourers have to be super sized.
