Alright! Weather looks PERFECT! Cloudy, in the 70s, with an occasional brief rain shower here or there (but not everywhere). According to the NWS geeks...atmospheric instability (which causes rain) is weak Sunday/Monday (meaning any rain will be quick, scattered, and probably late in the day)...and a high pressure area is moving over the area Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday...with slightly cooler temps and even less chance of rain.

I'll take that!  Bigok

Scott

PS - I know "cloudy" isn't perfect for photography...but if it's sunny...it'll be HOT AS BLAZES! (So I'm happy for it to be overcast...)

IMO, cloudy is better for riding anyway; less strobing in and out of the wooded areas, no sun glare and yeah, as you mentioned, typically a few degrees cooler.  Thumbsup Thumbsup

And, because of ATGATT, it's not like we're expecting a tan while riding. anyway...

Regardless, I'll be heading out tomorrow morning with my Darian jacket and pants on.  If it's > 80 degrees, I'll be hot.  It if rains, I won't have to stop to put rain gear on.

If it doesn't rain on me and temps are between 80 and 70, it will be perfect!

Yup the forecast has been getting better all week.  If I can get out of here Monday morning without a thunderstorm it should be a spectacular, dry couple of days.

Scott,
where are you getting your data from. The reports I'm seeing are showing mid 80's all week. Not that thats a problem, but 70's would be much nicer. I've been doing my weather chant all week. "75 and sunny, 75 and sunny"  Lol
Bugging out at 8 am tommorow morning! See you guy's in Lewisburg.  Bigok

I prefer clouds to sun for photos, too. Easier to balance the lighting and not have harsh glare or swallowing shadows  Cool

Latest from intellicast.com:

scattered T-storms every day; highs in the mid-80's

Let's hope they are very widely scattered or that this forecast is incorrect.

I'm looking forward to comparing your Darien to my Roadcrafter. Until, of course, someone joins the conversation praising his BWM RP2/Klim adventure kit...
