Sweet lookin bike!  Bigok With the suspension mods it must handle real nice.

So has anyone tried to drill and tap their own?  I ordered the hugger and have no holes in mine.  

Thinking I can drop the swingarm and put my own in without too much trouble.


Yes, I believe so.  In fact, I think those who drilled and tapped their own also recommended dropping the swingarm.  Just be careful!

I did have to tap into the swingarm, it wasn't difficult, but then again I did remove as much body structure as I could to give the tapping jig a clear space to work, the only reason I believe (researched)Triumph stop putting on the hugger was it interfered with the panniers. I put over 1k with panniers and  pillion with no adverse interactions between the hugger and pannier hardware.
