Week of June 15th  (see "General Information" thread for an idea of how the National "works"  Thumbsup )

The motel of choice appears to be The Bavarian Inn. As far as I know, no one has contacted them to let them know about our group and our plans. Maybe if someone did, we could get a discount

A dinner thread has been started over here

Main (RSVP) meal Tuesday night (the 14th), informal dinner on Wednesday night, per usual.  Thumbsup

Date(s) proposed for such awesomeness?

I could see doing this as part of a larger 2 week loop out west. Burnout

I'm laying down the challenge. More than 50 people need to show up or I'm going to buy a gen-1 Connie and join country's anti-fjr campaign. Lol

Didn't we make the date a regular thing? Third Tuesday of June?

If I can make the trip to the Alps next year with Kendenton and crew, I will not be able to make the National.  But, if I can't make it to the Alps, I would like to make this trip.

I'm thinking the same thing as Jack.  Get out there ASAP via slab, ride some twisties, come back via the U.P. and Great Lakes.

And of course if someone from the east coast wants to make it a pan-continental trip, there's room in Lacey for a night or two.

Good luck with that idea. The putzes around here can barely make it to a National on their back yard

I am keeping next June clear for riding. The past three years have been stoopid work crap.

You would likely see a bunch of western Canucks in Custer. Hmmm ... sounds like a banner.  Lol

Hell, if your gonna do that,

We can have a tent, bon-fire, do laundry, hang out, swim, maintain the bikes, and stuff thingey at my place...

on the way back east that is...

At least that is one idea? Within 3 miles of my place is 2 other ST.N'ers. TwoTrack and Bender. I am sure they will assist.

I think we had about 60 last time in Custer 2007, I'll be going for sure.  To be fair, we should have a National in Utah or Idaho to balance out the far east "National".

Oh, and don't you own a trailer?  Bigsmile

There's only one thing standing between me and the 2011 STN national.  The Colorado Rockies.  Unless I move or my financial situation changes dramatically I'll be there.

I'm in.

People from the east coast could potentially use day 1 to get to Milwaukee or Madison, and then have all the region 4 people join up from there.  Massive ride across the upper midwest to Custer ensues  Cool

Been to 2 in Custer, already planning on this one (As is the Mrs).   Bubba,  you need help finding the place???

BTW  at Custer I we did have a Canuck banner.   Plus we were the home of the Rye drinking team.
