I imagine me and the missus will be there.  She's really looking at getting a different bike and selling the ST4s and this would probably be the first long trip for a new bike.

Good luck with that idea. The putzes around here can barely make it to a National on their back yard

I'm in.

People from the east coast could potentially use day 1 to get to Milwaukee or Madison, and then have all the region 4 people join up from there.  Massive ride across the upper midwest to Custer ensues  Cool

If a few riders need a place to crash along the way, lemme know. There's also plenty of tent space in the back yard.

Custer- mmmm, dem roads was made for boxers.

The last payment on our mortgage will be made next April. After then, the boss says I can can buy whatever bike I want. My first long trip on the new bike will be to Custer.

For those members heading there from the east---check out rt. 2 in Nebraska--very cool, high-speed road.

I just punched Custer SD on my GPS and it tells me that I have to do 2,500 miles just to get there but hey, that's only 25 hours at 100 mph.  Nothing the K1300GT can't do right?   Bigsmile

That might come helpful.

Last time I went to SD, I cut from WI to MN through Red Wing, then hooked up with US 14 at Mankato, MN. I followed 14 all the way to Wall, SD. But I'm looking for a different two-lane road to follow this time.
