Ok ... it is that time to commit your attendance at this years event.

Here is what is happening.

Friday at my place. We will have Borscht and the usual sausages and salad.  I think this will run about $10-$15 per person depending on attendance numbers.

Saturday at A-Mans cabin. This will be BBQ, salads and good eats put together by our own Lizzabet. Menu details to follow but figure on traditional family BBQ !! Yum !
Lizabet figures about $20 per person for this ...

Saturday Morning Breakfast ... we have been offered the Lions Head Pub for breaky. It is about a km from my house and a perfect spot. Need a head count though ... So please let me know if you want a sit down breakfast on Saturday morning.

BYOB ... camping at A-Mans and in my back yard and limited accomodation at my house. Otherwise you are on your own in booking camping at Pass Creek Park or motelling it in town. If you need recommendations and phone numbers PM me. If there is a huge request to stay at my house I may do it via a lottery to be fair.

I will also confirm who has submitted for a tshirt in this thread.

Camping is a 5 minute walk from my house if you would like to book a nice and cheap spot ... http://www.hellobc.com/en-CA/AccommodationSpecialOffers/SearchResults/AccommodationDetail/BritishColumbia.htm?FLID=20&CATID=-1&LOCID=119&NBY=True&PID=4539377&PN=1&SRTT=SpecialOffer

Map to bubba's for Friday night. Arrive anytime after 3:30

1057 Wildrose Rd.  The map is wrong as it has mislabelled Broadwater. The easiest way to get here from downtown Castlegar is to head north on Columbia Ave, cross the long bridge of the Columbia River and take the third left after the bridge - Raspberry Rd - the third left again is Wildrose Rd and I will have my bike parked out on the driveway.

If you get lost call me at 250 365 7445

Only thing I will add is the catering from the lions head isn't a given I think Liz has a couple ideas of her own, and she will post them in a day or two, either way it will be good and no more than $20.00

Once again, if anyone needs further accommodation, I can offer...well, certainly a couch, floor space, or tent space.  15 minutes from Bubba's, over a fun road.

Also, I'm still considering doing a ride on Saturday up to Lumby, to check out the classic Norton rally.  This ride will be approximately 4 hours each way (over a GREAT road), which means that I will likely arrive late at A-Man's place for the BBQ.  Still, anyone else up for this?

That is a great idea and I am sure you will have some takers. Not sure what I am gonna ride this year. Is there a link for the Norton rally ?

Yep ...  http://www.bmoc.ca/Nortorious.html

Bubba,

I'd like to do the dual sport run. What time do you think you'll be taking off? I'll probably skip the Friday Borscht and meet up Saturday morning for the ride. But I'll stay for the BBQ at AM's estate and camp overnight.

I am still planning on being there and I ha e ordered a t-shirt.  I will be doing the Lumby Norton thing.  How often do you get to see that many Nortons, and ride a great road at the same time.  Bigok

You know we'll be there,

We'd love to use the same accomodations as last year,  or a tent in the back or whatever.   We're easy.
Breakfast sounds good,
I may be trailering the XX AND the XL, as I'd love to spend Sunday on some trails before heading back.  Or,  I may just XX it up there again, can't really get tired of them roads.

I'm already looking for the speedo,  Colleen won't tell me where it is.  I may have to go to the second hand store to see what's there.

For the Edmonton people,  we're open to leaving Wend evening or Thursday, and taking a scenic route there....   Glaceir N.P springs to mind.

Don't make Liz do all the work with the promise of her own bike,  I think she'll only fall for that once.

Maybe you should do the work???                     KFC everyone???

Holy Cow Jim!  Headscratch   You are having a difficult time understanding me.  The BBQ is going to be catered, not by the Pub or by me, but by my own special caterer.  This frees me up to be able to enjoy the day instead of slaving in the kitchen.
I thank all those who in the past have given me wonderful hostess treats; they have truly been appreciated.    Smile As you know it takes  time and effort in order to pull this weekend off.

The BBQ menu, still under planning, will include a snack to enjoy on the deck,  an undecided sacrificial beast lovingly BBQed by Alphabetman,  various side dishes, perhaps even a dessert.  We will have  non alcoholic beverages available.  $20 a head will cover the BBQ; please pay me on Friday night.
If you wish to partake in alcoholic beverages you will have to provide your own.  If space is an issue for you and you don't want to pack your case of beer on your bike you can send stuff out with me on Friday night.

I look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.  Ride safe.   Bigok
