Finally! Judging by the looks of the fairing, I'd say it's ready for release

Hell, I'd be happy with the twin coming back.
Not that I've ever ridden one, but they are legendary.

There was a rumor a year or two back that Apilia was working on a 1200cc twin as the basis for a new sport-touring bike and other street models. Haven't read anything to support that since then. That wouldn't exactly suck either.

Wow ... that is a beast. A beautiful beast ....
"At its heart is the RSV4’s 1000cc 65-degree V-Four, detuned via milder cams from a claimed 180 hp at 12,250 rpm and 85 ft.-lb. of torque at 10,000 to 162 hp at 11,000 rpm and 81 ft.-lb. at 9000. The 13:1 compression ratio and the 48mm EFI throttle bodies have been retained, as have the high-efficiency, lightweight exhaust system and its torque-enhancing butterfly valve. Plus, it uses the same APRC package as fitted to the RSV4 Factory APRC SE, providing wheelie control, launch control and traction control all in one."

I like it. Looks purposeful and not overly styled.

Oh, crap. I've just successfully rationalized how I don't want an RSV4, no, not really, my vintage Mille R is way cooler, blah blah blah.
And now
this.

Yeah, and I also saw the 180 hp. However, no magazine I've seen has dynoed a RSV4 at much more than 150hp, so I'm skeptical.
I like the idea of a V-4 Tuono, though. I just wish they'd gotten a better looking fairing for it!
