A couple new colors for the 2011 K1300S.  Don't know if these will be the only colors offered or if these are just new additional colors.  I really like the blue.

I really like both of those!  Perhaps next year IS the year to add a rocket sled to the collection...

Hey Roger I heard a rumor they are going to open a BMW Motorcycle point in Naperville in the near future.  Not much closer than your current options, but at least you could hang out at our place if you have an extended service visit.

First I've heard of this, though I can believe BMW could use another dealer in the Chicago area.

Thanks for your offer.  Once the dealer opens that would be a great excuse for a ride and maybe, coffee. Thumbsup

I wish they'd come out with an Alpine White/Blue scheme like the '05's and '06's.  My fave K bike color scheme ever.   Bigok

I went to Irv Seaver BMW yesterday to finally sit on a K1300S and take a good look at one.  The only new model for sale is the tri-color.  I was told that they will get no more 2010 models, and 2011 models should arrive November-ish.  I was also told that 2011 models will be Premium Package only, no more base models.  They were aware of these new color schemes, but weren't sure which colors would be deleted from the lineup.

It's a really nice bike.  It feels really good to me, details look to be high quality... yeah, I might have to get a 2011 model at the end of the year.

From what I'm reading on other forums it sounds like the orange and the black/gray/red are the deleted colors and that the light grey metallic will be carried over.

Hope your wrong on the loss of the base model.  I wouldn't mind getting a K13S at some point but if I would only be interested in getting the heated grips as an option (with ABS as standard).  Not interested in ESA, traction control, tire pressure monitor or gear shift assist.

That's a shame because the black/gray/red is really sharp.  Major 662 has one, it's gorgeous.   Inlove   The gray metallic is sorta boring.

<------------  Actually, of the 2010 colors, the light gray metallic would be my first choice.  Of course, that's coming from the owner of a granite gray bike. Wink
