This is just heartbreaking.

eBay # 220630042876

Just sad.

Quote from: ad

Up for sale is my Buell Chopper project. It started as a clean titled 2009 Buell Ulysses XB12XT with 1006 miles on it. It is now in a one of frame that started as a War eagle frame that was sent to Vince at Redneck Engineering for custom rubber motor mounts. It needs custom fabrication to be complete but is very close to being done as it is a roller and the hard parts are done.  The motor is perfect and it comes with the wiring harness attached and the oil cooler too.   Oh, and the gas tank as well.
It comes with as custom seat pan for two riders and a bend bar that needs to be welded on for the back of the seat pan to rest on. The seat pan and bar can easily be cut to be a single seater. I have abunch of parts that will come with it including stock head light.   You have to see this in person to really get it.
I have new baby and home and need to sell my projects.
I will except some trades or projects so feel free to ask, but I really need cash. All offers will be thought about.....within reason.

I add some pictures but they are all lousy.  None of the pic came out good at all.  There is one pic of the frame when I first got it back from Redneck in March.  It has my friends XB motor in it.  The 2009 motor has a bunch of upgrades to it.  If you do some research you will find out has it has the XB12RR race oil pump, there are extra fins on the oil cooler, and it has a remapped timing computer thing in the ignition that reads the motor 30 times per revolution apposed to the older 2 times.  It is also the last year of Buell.  I wanted bend the top rear shock mount 90 degrees to put the shock on more of an aggressive angle so the bikes backbone line flows a little better.  If this does not sell I will part out some of it or build it.

Translation: I fucked it up beyond all hope, recognition, and repair so badly that it's useless to even think about doing anything with it any further.

I think he wrecked it and was either hungover or tore up when he made this decision.

Yep, a cheap digital camera will work here too.  Shocking, no bids with 3 hrs. left.

I like the pragmatic comments.  Lol

Q: I'll give you $1500 cash. I need some of the parts. It'll never be a running complete bike again.

A: What parts do you need? This bike needs: 1. seat loop welded on (I have seat pan and half loop bent up ready to be welded on) 2. Battery box and fuse box fabricated (the complete wiring harness is in tact and still attached...

That started off as one of the nicer Buells--I'd love a Ulysses XT!  Very sad to see some doofus like this get his greasy hands on one (why couldn't he cut apart an old Sportster or something?).

Oh, and Brad--WE GET IT!  You can stop posting about the pods already!  Geez...

No.  All of what was done to the "Magazine Cover" bike can be fixed with just a few hours in a paint booth...

..but what Bubba did to that Ully can't be fixed...only buried.  What a waste...

Especially now that the BMC is no longer in production, I find the desecration of any Buell even more depressing... Sad
